Client Applications or Libraries

A RETS Client is an application which communicates with a RETS Server and transports the data from the MLS (or other datasource) to the local machine. A RETS Client Library is an API that can be used by a developer to develop a RETS clients. Often, these client libraries take care of most of the low-level communication issues.

- ezRETS - is a ODBC driver which can be used in MS-Office products to pull data directly from the MLS.

- TransparentRETS - TransparentRETS is a commercial RETS client designed to work with the Open-Realty listing management script. This RETS client is designed to allow brokers, agents, or third parties to easily setup IDX websites using their MLS's RETS feed.
- RETS IQ Java RETS Library™ - The RETS IQ RETS Library™ is a Java API that allows simple access to RETS servers. The API is designed to allow developers to connect to RETS servers and execute searches, photo downloads, metadata requests and updates without having to deal with the nuts and bolts of the RETS protocol.
- PHRETS - PHRETS is an open source PHP library that allows developers access to simple functions that aid with interacting with a RETS server.
- RETSbond - RETSBond ™ (RI) is a fully supported RETS client that allows you to download MLS information quickly and easily.
